What is nuucon?

nuucon digitises the global trade relations in the Home & Living industry. nuucon is a platform where brands and vendors trade their goods with Business Professionals like interior designer, retailer, online shops, concept store or even offices and start-ups.

Can end-users buy from nuucon? Is nuucon also a B2C platform?

nuucon is a business to business platform for interior designers, retailers, architects, and other business professionals. End-consumers cannot use nuucon, as it is not a B2C platform.

In what countries does nuucon operate?

The nuucon HQ are in Hamburg, Germany. However, we have brands and buyers from all over the world, with a focus on the European Market.

In which languages is nuucon available?

At the moment, nuucon is only available in English.

How do I become a buyer on nuucon?

If you are a retailer, Interior Designer, Architect, or a Business Professional, you can fill out the buyer registration form here. Someone from our team will contact you within 24 hours of application.

Why should I join nuucon as a buyer?

nuucon brings the latest and most popular Home & Living Brands and exclusive Interior Designers and Retailers together. Our sourcing experts support you by making your sourcing process more efficient and help you find exactly what you are looking for.

How can I find interesting and relevant brands?

You can search for brands and products by categories or by brands. You can also contact our sourcing experts via the chat icon to help you find what you are looking for.

I forgot my password, what do I do?

You can click the ‘forgot your password’ link on login page. You will receive an email with further instructions.

Order Process
How does the ordering process work?

In order to initiate an order process you will need to add the items to the cart by using the “add to cart” button.

For each brand a separate cart is created and when you are ready to initiate the order, you can request the quote to negotiate the terms on discounts and shipping costs.

Once the request is placed, the order flow will guide you through the next steps.

Trade relations can be established to automate your sourcing.

Where can I track my placed orders?

Once you log into nuucon through your account, you will see the Orders menu on the top right corner of the page. Here you can access your Order Management and view all the previous and pending orders.

Can I make changes once I have placed an order?

Unfortunately, we do not allow to make any changes once you have placed an order. However, you can cancel your order after the initial order request. If you have any more questions, please contact us at  customerservice@nuucon.io

Do the brands on nuucon offer Dropshipping?

Selected brands on nuucon do offer dropshipping. Contact us at  customerservice@nuucon.io  for more information on brands that offer dropshipping and the conditions that apply.

Payment
What methods of payment do you offer?

The payments happen after the sellers and buyers reach an agreement on costs and terms; the actual exchange of money happens directly between the buyer and the seller.

What are the Payment Terms and when will I be charged?

The Payment Terms are individually determined by the sellers. The standard payment terms on nuucon are: upfront, 30/70 split, or 30 days after delivery payment.

How much time does it take to receive access to your platform?

Somebody from our team will contact you within 24 hours. Usually, the on-boarding process takes around 1-2 weeks, depending on the size of the brand.

Who can sell on nuucon? And can I sell anything I like on nuucon?

nuucon is a curated marketplace for furniture and interior accessories.

We partner with furniture design brands and manufacturers from all over the world. Our experts assess the brand to decide whether the brand is the right fit for our customer base.

Brand- and Product Management
How can I upload and update my product data?

After your successful registration, we will send you our onboarding guide with further instructions on the uploading process.

Who will be responsible for maintaining my brand?

You are responsible for maintaining your brand page and making sure the product information is up to date (i.e., stock numbers, prices, new products etc.).

Our excellent Brand Support team can help you with keeping your brand information up-to-date, so please let us know if you need any changes made in your account.

Who will be responsible for shipping?

You are responsible for shipping products directly to the buyers. The buyers pay for the shipping costs and you can set the shipping cost for each order after an order is initiated by a customer.

Who will handle customer service?

The Customer Service is handled by the brand. The communication is connected to the order, which makes it is very easy to track any issues that might come up.

How should I price my products - VAT included or excluded?

nuucon is a B2B Marketplace, therefore, we only work with prices excluding VAT. This applies to the RRP and the wholesale prices.

Can I exclude countries from my offers?

Yes, you can. Please email us at  customerservice@nuucon.io  if you wish to exclude some countries from your offer.

Order Process for Sellers
How does the ordering process work?

An order request gets initiated by a buyer. You only receive request that fulfill your requirement such as minimum order value or quantity.

Once the request is placed, the order flow will guide you through the next steps, e.g. editing shippings costs or discounts.

Trade relations can be established to automate your sourcing

Do all orders get automatically accepted?

No, only established trade relationships with authorized buyers can be automated.

Can I make changes when I receive an order?

As a seller you can only edit shipping costs and discounts. You are not able to change the quantity of certain items.

Costs and Payment
What are the costs of nuucon?

nuucon does not charge subscription or one-time payments. Instead, our business model is commission based. Please contact  customerservice@nuucon.io  for more questions.

When and how will I get paid?

The buyers pay directly to you once the negotiation process is settled. The actual exchange of money happens directly between you and the customer.

You can decide between three different types of payment terms you would like to receive from the buyers: upfront, 30/70 split, or 30 day after delivery payment.
